My name is Silvia Conde, I’m a photographer and art director currently based in Barcelona. After finishing my degree in Advertising and PR (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), I moved to Berlin, where I lived for nine years. There I studied at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. Focused on nature, my work aims to capture the original beauty of Mother Earth: from its colours and textures to dreamy landscapes, all of them real. For more than ten years, I combine my personal work with commissions by magazines and brands, after working as a photo editor (Freunde von Freunden, EyeEm) and e-commerce assistant (Voo Store). Recently, Motherhood has become an object of study and I began An Ode to Mother, a platform about real experiences around this theme. Just as my admiration towards Motherhood and its representation in today’s society expands, last year I became a certificated doula, until now just for fun.
